With Andrea Wasserman
Building fundraising proficiency requires passion for the cause, a methodology enhanced by artful relationship building, practice, and learning from effective leaders in the field. Drawing from her expertise in the philanthropic arena, Andrea Wasserman, president of Social Profit Ventures, will facilitate three enlightening conversations and will invite course participants to bring their questions to the sessions. You won’t want to miss out on these unique interviews in which exceptional communal leaders will reveal how they have strengthened their skills and finesse to achieve greater impact through philanthropy.
Through engaging interviews, students will learn best practices in major donor pipeline development, board engagement in philanthropic practices, the art and science of asking for and securing gifts, exceptional cultivation and stewardship, building a strong culture of philanthropy, and diversifying fundraising strategies including individual giving, institutional giving, corporate giving , planned giving and endowments, donor advised funds, and other philanthropic vehicles.
The PROs in conversation with Andrea will include Sheila Katz of NCJW, David Cygielman and Jim Heiger of Moishe House and Jennifer Weinstock and Marc Baker of Boston’s CJP. Click here for more information on the Fundraising Masters.
