2020-04 JPRO Online:What Story Will We Tell? Jewish Textual Insights for this Unprecedented Passover
Event Registration is closed.

In this Pandemic Passover what texts and ideas might we bring to our Seder Screens? This interactive session will offer Biblical, Rabbinic, Modern and Contemporary Jewish texts and ideas to help respond to questions such as: What does it mean to celebrate Passover this year? What story of suffering and redemption do we tell this year? What does it mean now to declare our collective responsibility for all who are in need? What does it mean to say “dayenu” (‘it would have been enough’)? How do the Biblical plagues relate to and diverge from the plague that much of the world is currently suffering? Who do we want to be as individuals and as a people when we gather together next year, l’shana ha’ba’ah?

This program is open to all who work for Jewish community organizations.

Monday, April 6 from 1:00-2:00 pm Eastern / 12:00-1:00 pm Central / 11:00 am-12:00 pm Mountain / 10:00-11:00 am Pacific
